What The Heck is a QR CODE?
Many of you may have noticed the "Odd Looking Boxes of Messed up Swiss Cheese" appearing in assorted Print Publications, Signs, Clothing, etc. and wondered "What the Heck is that?". Good question – this is commonly known as a QR Code (QR Short for Quick Response), we have seen QR codes all our lives – just in a different format known as Barcodes.
QR Codes are more adaptable than barcodes in that YOU can create YOUR OWN QR Code for just about anything…Address in Text or Vcard format, Green Ticketing for events, Coupons, Family Reunions, Mobile App, GEO Code to particular location…the uses are limitless.

QR CODE GENERATOR – search web browser for preferred program
|
|
|
|
QR/BARCODE SCANNER - search web browser for your APP (SEE About QR BARCODES below
|
|

Directions: |

STEP ONE: (This is best done on your Personal Computer (PC) |
|
Open QR Code Generator |
|
Select type of QR Code you wish to create |
|
Insert YOUR information |
|
Click Create |
|
Download the QR Code and save to your computer as you would a photo |
|
|
|
STEP TWO: (This is best done on your handheld device with Internet/WIFI Access) |
|
Download your QR/BARCODE Scanner to your handheld device (will need to |
|
select the appropriate APP for your device) |
|
Open the APP, Scan QR Code, follow screen directions |
Uses:
Send QR Code to your handheld device for others to scan.
Print Media for coupons, directing consumers to our website.
Create on-line Invitations to: Wedding, Family Reunion, etc.
Print on to clothing or other wearables
You are the master of your QR Code Destiny!
